DARING GIRLS
Daring Girls invites girls to explore nature and celebrate and discover the heroines and goddesses of mythology, inspiring creativity, confidence and, of course, daring. Each day the Daring Girls ignite their creative spirit with weekly craft projects inspired by mythology, challenge themselves to complete obstacle courses and puzzles, explore the natural environment of Prospect Park on nature walks, and ultimately go on an adventure inspired by the tale of a mythological goddess or hero to unlock their own power.

Amid the spirited haven of Daring Girls, each participant takes on a unique role, dedicated to refining their outdoor skills, mastering craft projects inspired by heroines and goddesses of mythology, and becoming daring and creative individuals. For moments that require additional tools or props to enhance their adventures, the girls can immerse themselves in dedicated crafting sessions. Daring Girls isn’t just a program; it’s a realm where young girls ignite their creative spirits and build not only their skills but also their unyielding confidence.

DARING GIRLS
Train Like A Demigod
Demigod training at Daring Girls is a one-of-a-kind experience that combines physical, mental, and creative challenges.
Every week at Daring Girls is different.
From the sorceress who puts the “wit” in witch, Circe’s lab brings a STEM element into our camp! Every week, demi-goddess will conduct experiments created by Circe herself! Expect explosions, eruptions, and a whole bunch of fun.
Are you a demi-goddess driven by athletics? Then Persephone’s Grove is the place for you! In a visit to the Grove, campers will be led in classic games with a mythological twist. These games are designed to train young heroes in speed, agility, and stealth. Wear your sneakers, and game on.
At Daring Girls, we celebrate female accomplishments from world pantheons to modern day (did you know that many historical heroines were also demi-goddesses?) Every day at lunch, campers will learn about an accomplished woman from history. Hold tight to that knowledge, because the Friday Olympics has a trivia competition!
Inspired by the many colors of the goddess Iris’s rainbow, Daring Girls are known for their flashy tie-dye shirts. Every Monday, campers receive a plain white t-shirt and have the ability to create a multicolored masterpiece to wear for the rest of the week. Tie-Dye is a Daring Girls fan favorite activity, and we love to watch demigods display their creativity!
