Welcome to Summer 2025
The Summer of Misunderstood Monsters
Dear Mythik Camps Families,
Here at Mythik Camps, we dedicate every summer to our demigods and their growth into young heroes. From sword fighting and arms forging to storytelling and nature exploration, hero training has many layers, and to the mortals, it may seem… well, confusing. Why must a demigod go on a quest? What is a snackrifice? You need HOW MUCH cardboard?
As we head into our 16th season of adventure, we would be remiss not to acknowledge the message that so many of our families have shared with us over the years: being a kid is tough, and every demigod needs a place where they can explore their interests, run off their energy (thanks, Hermes!), and feel seen and understood. It’s our mission to be that place.
Summer 2025 is the year of Misunderstood Monsters, and as we explore Mothman’s premonitory presence, Polyphemus’s limited insight, and the Sphinx’s perplexing riddles (among many other monstrous things!), your kiddo will also be uncovering their bravery, their wits, and their ability to be a great team member and friend. We are so glad to have you joining us – it’s going to be scary fun!
Warm regards,
Dr. Crystal Bobb-Semple, aka Persephone Founder and CEO, Mythik Camps
